B-List festivities were held at The Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria, VA. There have been so many great blog recaps of the event already but as a true foodaholic, I thought we’d give a little extra attention to the food and little details that were so inspirational and above all, delicious!
The menu was created by Design Cuisine and the details were executed flawlessly. All the dishes were even named after the bloggers, my favorite being Oh So Beautiful Paper’s Tuna Tartare. Kelly from Santa Barbara Chic and I made sure we knew the locations of the waitstaff carrying those sweet trays of tuna tartare at all times!
Think Splendid’s Crab Cakes
Bridal Bar’s Sliding Oyster Bar
Other bridal details included a Prosecco DIY-bar where guests could add their own flavors to their glasses.
Holly Chappelle Flowers provided the sweet floral arrangements throughout the event including a DIY Bride Pop-Up Bar, which featured a centerpiece with the names and logos of the B-List blogs. The DIY Bride Pop-Up Bar put a twist on the popular candy/popcorn bar—foods that “Popped!” were included in the bar, like buttered popcorn, caramel popcorn, Pop Rocks in sweet little cones, and homemade Pop Tarts.
DC Rentals provided all the furniture for the event and cleverly set up various place settings throughout the room that showed off some great ways to pull off their place settings and wares.
There was even a live Twitter feed on the big screen, pulling all tweets that mentioned #theBlist or @the_b_list! Clever! You could have your wedding guests live tweet your wedding!
And of course, what wedding event would be complete without a Smilebooth? I love how the booth functions on remote, so guests that use the booth can snap away without needing someone to help them out, although the Smilebooth staff was always on hand to help us crazy photoboothers. The pretty pretty booth background was designed by Ashley at Dolci Odille.

Wow, I was really overeager to jam that mustache right up to my nose. And the cute little flowers all the bloggers were wearing were made for us by Emerson Made! Me, Anne-Marie from Perfect Bound and Kelly from Santa Barbara Chic
